Ruth Aaron, 88,died Friday January 21, 2005 in Wichita Falls.
Funeral services were Monday January 24,2005 at 2:00 p jn. at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Addington, pastor officiating. Burial was at the Fairview Cemetery.
Ruth was born October 11,1916 in Johnson County, Texas to L S Keller and Jesse Reed Keller. She moved to Wellington when she was 6 months old. She married J JD. Aaron on September 21,1934 in Wellington. She served as the CoIIingsworth County Treasurer from 1953 till 1965. She served as a dorm mother at West Texas AM University and as a sorority mother at Lamar State University in Beaumont. She was a member of the Beverly Drive United Methodist Church in Wichita Falls.
She was preceded in death by her husband J D Aaron in 1951 and by a brother Aubert Keller and by a granddaughter Faye Taylor.
Survivors include: son Cal and Nelda Aaron of Wichita Falls, two daughters Jo Ann and Hollis Scarborough of Denton and Mary Beth and Butch White of Hereford; three brothers Harold Keller of Wellington, Lawrence Keller of Arvada, CO and Floyd Keller of OKC; three sisters Cleta Pinto of Overland Park, KS, Nell Igo of Glendale, CA and Doris Balthrop of St Louis, Mo; 11 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
