"Howard L. Wolf, 92, 158 N. Reamstown Rd., Stevens, died Dec. 21 in Ephrata Hospital after being a guest at Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center, Narvon, 18 months.
Born Nov. 25, 1912, a son of John F. & Carrie A. (Von Neida) Wolf, his wife of 58 years, Sallie A. (Fry) Wolf, died Dec. 7. Member of Peace U.C.C., Swartzville, he had served on the board of Muddy Creek Cemetery & supported farmland preservation. Navy veteran of WWII, he was a self employed farmer & school bus driver for Cocalico School District.
Surviving: son, Raymond L. (Donna Cooper) Wolf, Stevens; grandchildren, Bradley (Jennifer Galvan) Wolf & Lori (Tim) Patterson; 3 great-grandchildren; & sister, Kathryn M. Zerbe, Ephrata.
