Funeral services for Gregory "Greg" Clark Williams, 23, of Trader Mill Road, were held Saturday, February 13, 2010, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel, with burial at Memorial Gardens of Columbia.

Gregory was born March 12, 1986, in Port Jefferson, NY.

He was a graduate of Spring Valley High School and attended the University of South Carolina and was currently attending the College of Charleston.

Greg had a zest for life. He loved to travel and help people; which lead him to his journeys on being a member of the AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps and the American Red Cross; which allowed him the opportunity to assist with the devastation of Katrina on two different occasions. He was an avid reader and always wanted to learn something new.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. And Mrs. Glenn and Aecha Williams of Columbia; a brother, Eric Williams; paternal grandfather, Robert Paul Williams of PA; maternal grandmother, Ok Yu Chong of Korea; uncle, Bobby Williams of GA; and an aunt, Donna Williams of PA.
