Born Aug. 31, 1888, she was the daughter of James Monroe and Fairy French Salts. A native and life resident of Warren County, she was a graduate of West Lebanon High School and Winona College at Marion. Mrs. Crawford retired from REMC in 1955. She had also worked as a court reporter and a private secretary. In 1915 she was married to Donald P. Crawford, Sr., who died in 1936. She was a member of West Lebanon Christian Church.
Surviving are three sons, Donald P. Crawford, Jr. of Yeoman, Robert Gene Crawford of Lakeside, CA, and George Wendall Crawford of West Lebanon; a daughter, Marguerite (Mrs. Max) Whitten of Indianapolis; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Services in Fisher Funeral Chapel, West Lebanon, July 22, the Rev. Leonard J. Largenna and the Rev.
