He married Jimmie Naomi King on March 5, 1948, in Hobbs, where he lived from 1947 to 1976, when he moved to Artesia.
A member of Hermosa Church of God in Christ, he had retied as a production foreman for ARCO.
Survivors included his wife; one daughter, Carroll L. Reed of Albuquerque; one son, Alan B. Call of Hobbs; two brothers, Paul Call of Eureka Springs and Pat Call of Greenbriar, Ark.; two sisters, Peggy Lisk of Eureka Springs and Betty Foster of Peoria, Ill.
