Lyman, SC - Bertha Ruth Pittman died on Monday, Feb. 1, 1954 at 6 p.m. in Allen Bennett Memorial Hospital in Greer, SC, following an illness of one week. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Wall Pittman of Holly Springs Community and was a sixth grade student at Holly Springs School. Survivors included: her parents; five brothers; three sisters,; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Pittman of Lyman, SC Route #1; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Selma Jones of Greer, SC Route #1. She was 11 years of age at demise and interment was in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
