NETTIE PITTMAN GREER, Dec. 28 - Mrs. Nettie Smith Pittman, 26, died at her home at 12 24th Street, Victor Mill village this morning at 1:30 o'clock after an illness of six weeks. Mrs. Pittman is survived by her husband, A.B. Pittman, and the following children: James Pittman, Mildred Pittman, Elizabeth Pittman and Doris Pittman, all of Greer; her Father, J.A. Smith, Duncan, and the following brothers and sisters, D.F. Smith, Greer, Route 4 2; Harold Smith, Elmer Smith, J.W. Smith, all of Duncan, Route 1; Miss Velma Smith and Mrs. James Davis, Duncan, Route 1; Mrs. W.L. Farmer, Wellford, Route 2; Mrs. C.M. Dean and Mrs. Boyd DeYoung, both of Greer; two step-brothers and two step-sisters. Mrs. Pittman was a member of the Holly Springs Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 11 o'clock at the Friendship Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Walter Harrison, assisted by the Rev. Mr. Thompson. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Pallbearers will be: J.S. Pittman, L.M. Pittman, Alvin Sloan, D.F. Smith, Harold Smith and Elmer Smith.
