COLORADO CITY - Hubert J. Barr, 48, a lifelong resident of Colorado City, died at 2:15 p.m. Sunday at his home here following a sudden illness. Justice of Peace Mary Moore ruled death due to natural causes.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will occur in the Colorado City Cemetery.

Mr. Barr was born September 14, 1927 in Colorado City. He was a farmer and truck driver. He married Ina Fay Wood Nov. 5, 1948 in Colorado City. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Snyder and was a WWII veteran.

Survivors incude his widow; a daughter, Susan Ann Barr of the home; his father, J. M. Barr, Colorado City; three sisters, Mrs. Bernice Walker, Mrs. Margaret Brown and Mrs. Lillian Alexander, all of Colorado City; and three brothers, Robert Barr and Lloyd Barr, both of Colorado City; and Floyd Barr, Odessa.
