She was a charter member of Wakeminster Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
Mrs. Benfield was preceded in death by her husband, Bryan Benfield; daughter, Ann B. Kelley; son, Charles B. Benfield; grandson, Wallace E. Benfield; sisters, Nell Ault and Alease Strickland and by her brothers, Charlie Russell and Carl Russell.
