David Zachary Criswell, the son of James Criswell and Isabella Jane Clements, was born on February 1864. David was the husband of Cordelia Bell Harrell, the daughter of William Vincent Harrell and Sarah Emily Stone. They were the parents of Vida Criswell Burke, who was born in 1904; and Ralph Criswell, who was born on July 15, 1906. David died on January 20, 1935 in Lietchfield, Grayson County, Kentucky. He was buried in the Walnut Hill Cemetery where his son Ralph had been buried after his death on March 4, 1927. Cordelia joined them there after her death on June 17, 1952.
