Mrs. Anna Kussman, aged 37 years, 7 months, and 2 days, wife of Julius Kussman, died Monday, April 3, 1899, at the family residence on the Brunswick Bottoms. Her babe, aged about one year, who was also ill, died Wednesday, the 5th. The mother was buried Tuesday in the Brunswick lower grave yard, and the body of the child was laid to rest to-day beside that of its mother. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. F. G. Walther.
Deceased was born in Frankfort, Saline County, and was the daughter of the late Wm. Wegner. She was a kind and loving wife and mother, an obliging and good neighbor, and was loved and respected by many friends and acquaintances. She leaves a husband and three children and many relatives and friends to mourn her loss.
