Charles N. Fulfer, 86 of Mountainair, NM, passed away Sunday, January 24, 1999 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 27, 1999 at the Mountaineer Assembly of God Church under the direction of Harris-Harlon Mortuary in Mountainair. 847-2331

Charles N Fulfer, 86, an 83 year resident of Torrence County, passed away peacefully January 24, 1999 at his home in Mountainair to the arms of our Lord and Savior. He was born September 5, 1912 in Wichita Falls, Texas to George C. (Lum) Fulfer and Lillie Kate (Wyatt) Fulfer.

He was a loving, caring husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and Uncle.

Mr. Fulfer married June 18, 1941to Alene Mathews, who preceded him in death, also preceding was a son, Jim Bob, five brothers, one sister.

On July 30, 1956, he was married to Juanita Ragland who survives him of the home. Other survivors include sons, Charles Jr. and his sons, Dillon, Dustin, and Cody, Don and his wife, Sandy and their daughters, Rayshell and Corrie, and one brother, Felton. Also extended family of Masako Meagher, Linda Fulfer, Joe, Priscilla, Joseph, Adrianna, Denny and Mandy Stidham and many other nephews, nieces, and precious family, not the least of which were his brothers and sisters in Christ and in the Assembly of God Church.

Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1999 at the Mountainair Assembly of God Church with Glenn and Clyde Fulfer officiating. Burial followed in the White Lake Cemetery near Gran Quivira with Bill Wallander, Greg Harrington, Gordon Mathews, Joe Stidham, Doyle Chaney, and Warren Mathews serviing as pallbearers.
Honary Pallbearers were Noble Reynolds, Vern ie Wells, Denny Stidham, Ron Fulfer, Dennis Fulfer, Marvin Fulfer, Dan Summers, and his many family and friends.

Arrangements were entrusted to Harris-Harlon Mortuary in Mountainair.
