Billy was a fun loving person and loved to have a good time. He enjoyed having his family and friends around and spending time with them. Billy served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and he was very proud of his military career. After returning home from the war he began his career in truck driving. He enjoyed seeing all the states during this time in his life. Billy loved to play cards and also enjoyed playing Texas HoldEm. Some of Billy's hobbies included Stockcar Driving in his younger days, sponsoring his son and grandson in the Hillbilly Motorsports and hunting and fishing. Billy was a
Christian and was a member of the Dallas Avenue Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Danny Walston and one grandson Christopher Casey.
Survivors include one son Steven Casey of Cove; one daughter Theresa Anderson and husband David of Springdale; three sisters Sharon Warren of Mena, Paula Ashley of Mena and Pam Brooks of Mena; three brother in laws Monty Warren of Mena, Tommy Ashley of Mena and Bobby Brooks of Mena; his ex-wife Delores Matheson of Cove; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at the Hall Funeral Service Chapel with Brother Max Deaton officiating. Interment will follow in the Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Mena. Visitation will be general. Arrangements are entrusted to Hall Funeral Service in Mena.
Pallbearers will be Brad Ashley, Michael Warren, Bobby Brooks Jr., Robby Hines, Brandon Griffiths and Brent Gorden.
