Jonesville, SC - James William Ward died at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, 1981 in Wallace Thomson Hospital, following a brief illness. Native of Spartanburg County, SC and son of the late Wylie Jefferson and Mae Storey Ward. Husband of Mrs. Mae S. Ward and member of the Pacolet Methodist Church. Retired mechanic for J. P. Stevens Company. Survivors included: four daughters; five sons; one brother; 24 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
