ABERCROMBIE, MARY HICKMAN - age 94 of Lenoir City passed away Friday, July 3, 2009 at the Baptist Health Care Center.
She was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Lenoir City.
Preceded in death by her husband, C.R. "Jim" Abercrombie, Sr.; son, Joseph Edward Abercrombie; parents; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, C.R. "Bob" and Midge Abercrombie of Lenoir City, Don Abercrombie of Nashville, Steve and Sherry Abercrombie of Lenoir City; grandchildren: Debbe Childress Garrett and Dr. Mike Garrett, Kathy and James Lynch all of Knoxville, Renee Shelton, Kim and Jeff Windham, Donnie Abercrombie all of Nashville, Steven and Megan Abercrombie of Chattanooga, Kevin Abercrombie and Brent Abercrombie of Lenoir City; 13 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at Click Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ron Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in the Lenoir City Cemetery. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
