Edward E. Mattingly, 88, died Wednesday at his home. He was a native of Raywick, a retired farmer and a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church. Survivors: his wife, the former Priscilla A. Bickett; four sons, Louis B., William H., Joseph D. and Joseph I. Mattingly; five daughters, Kathy Clark of Shelbyville, Mary Ann Ray, Elizabeth Fenwick, Ursula Ryan and Pat Bohannon; a sister, Mary E. Simms of Mount Washington; 26 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday, St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Raywick. Burial: church cemetery. Visitation: Mattingly Funeral Home, Loretto, from noon - 9 p.m. Friday, Memorial gifts: Mass of the Air or Rosary on the Air.
