She was a native of Haywood County, daughter of the late Charlie and Dovie Jones Sneed.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 3 p.m. Thursday, Pacolet United Methodist Church Cemetery, Pacolet, SC
VISITATION: 7-8:30 tonight, McLean Funeral Directors, Belmont
She retired from textiles and was a member of Berea Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting and quilting.
SURVIVORS: Her daughter, Frances Gittens of Belmont; son, Harold Bennett of Jacksonville, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 32 great-great-grandchildren
