Bobby Earl Tucker, age 66, passed away on Saturday morning January 17, 2009. He was born on November 6, 1942, in Galveston to Beulah Faye and Arthur "Cotton" Tucker. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Charles Ray Tucker; sister Joyce Ann Shannon; and his wife of over thirty years Mary Ann Tucker. Left to cherish his memories are his children Robert Tucker and wife Stephanie, Tina Reeves and husband Darryl; grandchildren David, Justin, Anna and Paige; brother William "Buddy" Tucker and wife Unarae; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. The family would like to offer a special note of gratitude to the Fraternal Order of Eagles for all of their support and love.
Public viewing will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2009, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with services also at Carnes Funeral Home Chapel at 3100 I 45 N in Texas City, 77591. Burial will immediately follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Dickinson.
