Susan F. Gruber, 87, of the 2900 block of East Douglas Avenue, Des Moines, died of a heart ailment Monday, Jan. 13, 2003 at Mercy Hospice - Johnston.
Grandview Park Funeral Home handled arrangements, with the funeral service conducted at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, where she was a member.
Mrs. Gruber lived in Des Moines her entire life and retired from Central National Bank.
She was married to Fred Gruber, who preceded her in death.
Survivors included two daughters, two sons, two sisters, three brothers, 10 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
