Mrs. Mattie Bard died Monday at her home in the Georgetown section, following an extended illness. The deceased was a woman of many excellent traits of character, and was held in loving esteem by a large circle of friends. She was forty-five years of age. The funeral was held Tuesday, the interment being in the family section in the cemetery there.
