BLANDFORD - Connie Kay (Brewer), formerly Connie Kay Sharpe, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2008. She was the senior beauty advisor for 15 years at Walgreens Hikes Point location. She was preceded in death by her brother, William Joseph Brewer. Survivors are her loving husband, Keith Blandford; loving son, Gary Edward Sharpe Jr.; brothers, Ronnie (Carrie), Danny Wayne Brewer (Missi); sister, Marsha Brewer; parents, Nevell and Sylvia Rita (Howell) Brewer; nieces, Bridgett Abell (Donnie), Hailey Rose, Lily Anne Brewer; nephew, Sam Brewer; and great-nephew, Donnie Abell III; loving caregivers, aunt Rachael Davis, Chrissy Scott and Karen Staser. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Fairdale McDaniel Funeral Home, 411 Fairdale Rd. with burial at Mt. Holly Cemetery. Visitation is 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society.
