Young, Walter C.- (1913 - 2007) A retired building contractor, passed peacefully to his rewards on January 12, 2007. Preceded in death by his parents, Jesse & Mary Denton Young; first wife, Ada Rose Young (119676852 ) who is believed in childbirth, brothers Alfred, Authur, and Malcolm Young; great grandson, Steven Richey. He is survived by Geraldine, his wife of 66 years; daughters, Glynda (James) Wilkes, Gale (Ron) Toelle, Vicki (John) Younkin; sons, Jerry (JoAnn) Young, Roy Young and Jeff (Kim) Young; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren. His first wife, Gertrude, passed away in 1939. He was a very active member and retired elder of Jackson Park Church of Christ for over 50 years. Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Monday, January 15, 2007 from Spring Hill Funeral Home chapel with Minister Jim Olive officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Grandsons and great grandsons will serve as Pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday at SPRING HILL FUNERAL HOME, 5110 Gallatin Rd., (615)868-1101
