Stella is preceded in death by husbands John Schmauch and John Sullivan, her sisters Elizabeth Wilson, Florence Ball and Emma Francis Smeltzer.
She is survived by two sons, two cherished granddaughters, three grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-nieces, great-nephews and a beloved niece.
Stella was a graduate of Marshall University (class of 1937) and served as Head Dietician at Cabell Huntington Hospital for more than 30 years. She was the 1974 West Virginia Dietician of the Year and was a very active member of Second Presbyterian Church, Huntington and Parkview Presbyterian Church, Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Stella was a member of the TNT Club for 76 years and enjoyed socializing with her dearest friends from the club. She was also a member of the American Dietetic Association, Marshall University Alumni Association, Eastern Star and the Rebekahs.
