Nelson Bennett Arthur Sr., 86, of Daytona Beach, Fla., formerly of Chesterfield, Va., passed away January 19, 2002 in Richmond. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nellie Clark Arthur; sons, Nelson Bennett "Ben" Arthur Jr. and his wife, Rose of Chesterfield, Va.; Kent Mack Arthur and his wife, Leza of Aliso Viejo, Calif.; five grandchildren, David, Michael, Ryan, Nathan and Lindsey; and a number of nieces and nephews. Mr. Arthur retired from E.I. DuPont after 35 years of service and was a member of the 3000 Day Club.
