Mrs. McIntyre had been in poor health for some time, and while her condition was serious, it was not thought that she would pass away so soon. She passed away at the home of her sister, Mrs. J.W. Eberly on November 13, 1916 at the age of 64 years, ten months and 30 days. Death was caused by a complication brought about by cancer of the stomach and acute Bright's disease.
She is mourned by her children, Mrs. Nellie Bond, Chicago, Mrs. Edward Francis, Mrs. Clyde Wells, and Mrs. Jennie Olson, Aurora; Frank of Chicago heights; Clarence of Kankakee; Mrs. J.W. Eberly, Mrs. Fred Pratt and Mrs. Bert Hickok of Sandwich; five grandchildren and a number of friends.
Funeral services were held at the home of her sister, Mrs. Eberly at noon on Thursday, Rev Hal E. Norton having charge. Interment was made in Plano Cemetery.
