RIDGELEY,WEST VIRGINIA —- Mary Frances (Hill) Abe, 92, of Ridgeley, died Monday, March 25, 2019 at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Born August 6, 1926 in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Albert Henry Hill and Mary Frances (Wolfe) Hill.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Earl Abe; a sister-in-law, JoAnn Hill; and, a granddaughter.
She was a graduate of Ursuline Academy, Class of 1944. Mary was also a graduate of Allegany Hospital School of Nursing under the Cadet Nurses Corps program.
She was a member of Annunciation of Our Lord Catholic Church and V.F.W. Post #6667 Auxiliary.
Survivors include her children, Stephen E. Abe and wife Deann and David H. Abe and wife Debbie, Kenneth E. Abe and Nancy A. Clark and husband Robert; her brother, Robert “Bob” H. Hill; her sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Swift; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren
Friends will be received at Annunciation of Our Lord Catholic Church on Monday, April 8, 2019 from 10-11 AM.
Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM, with Rev. Fr. Mike Lecias, as celebrant.
Interment will be in Abe Cemetery.
