My Mother's parents were Lewis Burgan Case and Roxie Susanne Hollingsworth Case. She was raised on the Judson Mill Village where she was born. She met my father at Judson Mill, fell in love and married him 3 months later. Her grandfather Case was Dr. John Knox Stimpson Case and her grandmother Case was Josephine Louise Aiken Case. Mother was named after her grandmother Case. Her grandparents Hollingsworth were, Elias Clinton Hollingsworth and Mary Clarissa Weams Hollingsworth. She and my father always lived in Greenville County, except for a short time when they lived in Laurens County, where my baby sister was born. There were 3 of us children, and I am the only child left. My brother died in Nicholson, N. C. in 2008. My sister died in the Greenville Hospital in 1999. We buried her on Valentine's Day.
--------------------
Mother attended Parker High School in Greenville, SC. She was in her last year of school when her and Daddy married so she quit school to get married. The first time she saw my Daddy she asked him if he was a brother to Jewel and Doyle Sellers and he told her "yes". She told him she was going to get in the SELLERS family even if she had to marry the cat. Daddy told her he would kill the cat (he was joking, of course) and 3 months later they were married.
