SHERMAN FRANKLIN BRINNER SR., 81, of Lebanon Junction, died on Sunday, June 14, 2009, at Helmwood Health Care in Elizabethtown. He was a native of Lebanon Junction and a member of the First Baptist Church of Lebanon Junction. He was preceded in death by his parents, George W. Brinner and Mary Belle Mattingly Brinner; and his wife, the former Dorothy Mae Southard. He is survived by a daughter, Gloria Crady of Hodgenville; a son, S. Franklin Brinner Jr. of Mount Washington; and four grandchildren, Angela Benton, Anthony Crady, Benjamin Brinner and Christopher Brinner. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, at Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction with the Rev. Tom Wicker officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Junction City Cemetery. Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
