Eliza Ella Avants, of Oklahoma City, was born Sunday December 8, 1918 in Qualls, Oklahoma to Johnson and Rachel Coppinger Silk. She died Sunday, January 16, 2010, in Oklahoma City at the age of 91 years, 1 month and 8 days. She was a loving daughter, wife, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grand mother. She is preceded in death by her parents and a great-grandson. She is survived by her son, Wingemon J. Avants of Vancouver, Washington; daughter, Ethel Marie Martin of Oklahoma City; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at the Reed~Culver Funeral Home Chapel in Tahlequah with the Reverend Charlie Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the White Oak Cemetery in Qualls with London Avants, Chris McKinney, Tyler McCance, Chance Jackson, Jasper Riddle, Robbie McKinney, Monica Martin, Elaine McCance, Marla McCance and Chate Jackson serving as pallbearers. Services are under the direction of Reed~Culver Funeral Home.
