Joseph joined Pilgrim Baptist Church in 1974. He was a graduate of St. Stephen High School. He continued his education at Shaw University and Rutledge College in Raleigh NC. Joseph made Raleigh, NC his home and later joined Lincoln Park Holiness Church.
Joseph was employed with Business Telecom,Inc, in Raleigh,NC until his health began to fail. Joseph rededicated his life to God and connected himself back with the Pilgrim Baptist Church Family in January of 2004.
