Deborah Brock Holcombe, age 56, of Alpharetta, died Friday, March 13, at Emory Johns Creek Hospital. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, March 17, at First Coast Beaches Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, at First Coast Beaches Memorial Park, 1500 Main St., Atlantic Beach, FL. A local memorial service will be announced.

A 1970 graduate of Fletcher High School in Jacksonville Beach, Fla., Debby went on to serve 39 years as an employee of State Farm Insurance. She began her State Farm employment in 1970 as a "Kelly Girl" in Jacksonville and worked her way up to the position of underwriter. She served the Jacksonville Operations Center until 1991 when she transferred to the newly established Southern Zone Operations Center in Duluth, Ga., where she was an underwriting team manager.

A beloved daughter, wife and friend, Debby leaves behind husband Byron Holcombe, mother Odelle Yates, step father Robert Yates, step brother Doug Yates, step sister Donna Yates and cousin William (B.J.) Sohn, all of Jacksonville.
