Obituary

Marjorie Marie Schroeder Findley passed away January 8, 2010.

Margie is survived by her husband, Warren; five children; as well as seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Margie was a loving wife to George Warren Findley, mother to Nicki Findley, Judi Findley Sellers, John Findley, Dena Findley, and Glenn Findley.

She was the proud grandmother to seven grandchildren, Carolyn, Andy, Matthew, Nicole, Amanda, Payton, and James. She was recently blessed with two precious great-grandchildren, Carolyn's daughters, Faith and Lily.

Margie was born July 1, 1932, in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Grace Lillian (Jones) and James Michael Schroeder. Warren and Margie both graduated from Sunset High School but met later when her brother Jimmy introduced her to Warren while they were attending Texas A&M.

She and Warren eloped 60 years ago this January 28th, with the aid of her brother Jimmy and his wife Joy.

Margie's family was the focus of her life and she truly embraced her role as a stay at home Mom. Her children, growing up, always knew they were the center of their parents' world.

Her interests included classical music, old movies, antiquing, collecting dolls, and spending time with close, dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Schroeder and her dear grandson, Nicki's son, Andy.
