Joseph E. Lambert, age 87, died Saturday, January 2, 2010, at his residence. Services will be at Henault-Gallogly Funeral Home in West Warwick, RI. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

Husband of the late Dolores F. (Grace) Lambert. Born in Hope, sone of the late Noe George and Maria (Taylor) Lambert. He was a pro football player, former pres.,
RI Ref. Assoc., WWII USMC Veteran, educator in Warwick (Aldrich Jr. High) and principal in Cumberland.

Survived by 3 sones, Earl, Kevin, and Wayne; a sister, Isabelle Wellwood; tow brothers, Constant "Connie" Lambert and Noe George "Trapper" Lambert; 3 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Mary D. Ricci, Ervery, William and Nelson Lambert.
