Christopher Michael Sherbert, 26, of Stoney Knoll, Lot No. 8, Cooley Springs, died Nov. 6, 2003.

A native of Spartanburg County, he was the son of Michael Wayne West of Stone Station and Deborah Sherbert McGowan of Boiling Springs. He was reared in the home of an aunt, Becky S. Jennings of Cowpens.

He was a shop mechanic with Superbike Motorsports.
Surviving in addition to his parents and aunt are a stepfather, Michael McGowan of Boiling Springs.
