Mrs. Kolmer, Teacher Of Music, Dies

Mrs. May A. Kolmer, 80 years old, 1374 East Kessler Boulevard, musician and music teacher, died yesterday in her home.

A lifelong Indianapolis resident, Mrs. Kolmer retired five years ago after serving 20 years as organist of the East 10th Street Methodist Church. She formerly was a piano teacher at the Metropolitan School of Music and was accompanist many years for the late Edward Nell, singer and a founder of the Arthur Jordan Conservatory of Music.

She was the widow of Dr. John Kolmer.

MRS. KOLMER was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Matinee Musicale, Women's Research Club and Sigma Iota music sorority.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Flanner and Buchanan Broad Ripple Mortuary. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Russell P. Veit of Indianapolis, two granddaughters and three great grandchildren.
