GREENSBORO, NC - Doris P. "Dot" McDowell, formerly of Greensboro, NC, and most recently of North Point of Archdale Assisted Living, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2009, at Hospice of the Piedmont, High Point.
Her funeral service was held at 3 pm on Wednesday, December 2, at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 High Point Road, Greensboro, with interment following at Guilford Memorial Park.
She was a retiree of Western Electric / A T & T with 31 years of service and 18 years of service with Mayberry on Summit Avenue, Greensboro.
She was a lifelong member of Clifton Road Baptist Church of Greensboro.
Her parents and siblings preceded her in death.
Surviving are her son, Ronnie Frazier of High Point; daughters, Brenda Darnell of High Point and Vikki Collie (Mike) of Archdale; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
