Dorothy A Kline, 86, of Huey died at 4:20 am Sunday, September 7, 1997, at Clarion Hospital. Born April 16, 1911, in Oak Ridge, she was the daughter of Mont and Martha Ellen (Davis) Bowser. She married Rollie (sic-Rellie) F Kline on September 14, 1929. He preceded her in death in February 1971. Mrs Kline was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Huey, and was active in the church's missionary society. She was a former member of the Ladies Club of Huey for many years. Mrs Kline is survived by two sons, Donald Kline of Huey and Ronald Kline, and his wife, Joanne, of Huey; two daughters, Mrs Richard (Marlis) McElravy of Dennison, Ohio, and Mrs. John (Marlene) Bailey of Mercer; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter. She is also survived by three brothers, Paul Bowser and Ronald Bowser, both of Huey, and Melvin Bowser of Clarion. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs Kline was preceded in death by a son, Stanley G Kline in July 1996; six brothers, George Bowser, John Bowser, Hulbert Bowser, Thomas Bowser, Walter Bowser and Lawrence Bowser; and three sisters, Cecil Johnston, and two infants, Claire Bowser and Jenny Bowser. Funeral services were held at 11 am today (Wednesday) at the Varner Funeral Home in Sligo. The Rev Leonard Goughler, pastor of the Church of God of Prophecy in Huey, and the Rev W J Sedwick, former pastor, co-officiated. Interment was in Cedarview Cemetery in Strattanville RR1.
