Lillie Hatfield Wheeler, 79, Rt.1, Leitchfield, died September 12, 1984 at the Grayson County Hospital.

Mrs. Wheeler was born November 9, 1904 in Grayson County, the daughter of Burr Hatfield and Linda Skaggs Hatfield. Her husband, Edward Wheeler, deceased.

Survivors include one son, Murphy Hatfield, of Louisville; two daughters, Pansy Henderson, of Valley Station and Patsy Davison, of Rt. 1, Leitchfield; four step-sons, Charles, Donnie, Robert and Gene Wheeler, all of West Virginia; two step-daughters, Alice Garrett, of Louisville and Linda Davis, of West Virginia; one sister, Nora Horton, of Hart County; three brothers, Wavie, Clyde and Paul Hatfield, all of big Clifty; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services were held September 14 at the Rogers Funeral Home in Clarkson, with Rev. Walter Lay and Rev. Wayne Henderson officiating, burial in the Antioch Cemetery.
