MICHELLE L. WILLIAMS, age 34 passed away on Saturday December 12, 2009 at Pennock Hospital, in Hastings, Michigan. Michelle was born July 26, 1975 in Grand Rapids, Michigan & raised in Middleville, where she graduated from Thornapple-Kellogg High School in 1993. Michelle continued her education at Grace Bible College where she received her Associates Degree in Business in 1995.
Michelle worked in the Loan Accounting Department of Hasting City Bank from 1991-1996 and for the office of Community Corrections from 1996-1998.
In November of 1996 she married her husband & they had 4 children. Michelle was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Hastings and home schooling groups. She enjoyed reading Christian books, knitting, and being involved with her family. Michelle was preceded in death by her grandparents Richard and Shirley Knauss, and Grandpa Carl Nelson.
Michelle was diagnosed only in October, with stage four breast cancer. She was treated for a time at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Chicago. Michelle returned home and it was while she was there that she went to Pennock Hospital, where she passed away.
Besides her husband and four small children, Michelle is survived by her parents and a sister & her inlaws.
