Sydney T. Burke, 66, of Albertville, died Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, at Huntsville Hospital.
Services will be today, Tuesday, Dec. 15, at Fellowship Church, in Albertville, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Donald Cotten officiating. Burial will follow at Nixon Chapel Cemetery. Albertville Funeral Home is in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Gwen A. Burke, of Albertville; daughter, Aundrea Jay (James) Baker, of Albertville; son, Sydney Tommy (Myra) Burke Jr., of Albertville; brothers, Frank (Leta) Burke, of Vestavia, Jerome Burke, of Texas, Michael (Celsia) Burke, of Ragland, and Clarence (Sharron) Burke, of Birmingham; sisters, Phyllis (Tim) Foster, of the Nixon Chapel community, and Anita (Mike) Hardin, of Alabaster; and three grandchildren.
