Mr. Trower retired from farming in 1973, then worked nine years for the City of Winchester.
He was born July 21, 1906, in Winchester, the son of Lewis and Florence Yonally Trower.
Mr. Trower was a member of the former Hebron Baptist Church southeast of Winchester.
He was married to Frances Asher Oct. 4, 1930, in Oskaloosa. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter Betty Hamon, Carmichael, Calif., two sisters, Helen Dyer, Topeka, and Ethel Moon, Winchester; two brothers, Junior Trower and Maurice Trower, both of Topeka, and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at O'Trimble Funeral Home in Nortonville. Burial will be in Wise Cemetery in Winchester. Relatives and friends will meet from 7 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Jefferson County Memorial Hospital in Winchester.
