Arthur Lee Hyde, 70, of Mountainburg died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002, in his home. He was a member of the Church of God, International Rifle Association and IEU-AFL-CIO and an Army veteran of the Korean War. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Ocker Funeral Home Chapel in Alma with burial at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith. He is survived by his wife, Joan; a daughter, Joanie Gail Boyle of Alma; a son, Jack Lee Hyde of Mountainburg; four sisters, Bobby Jinks of Dawsonville, Ga., Marie Sanders of Cummings, Ga., June Beaber of Riverdale, Ga., and Wanda King of Royston, Ga.; three brothers, Gus Hyde of Homer, La., Lovell Hyde of McDonald, Ga., and Wayne Hyde of Royston; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Kenneth and Albert Schubach, Gary Boyle, Gary Knolton, Leon James and Ralph Hughey.
