REIDSVILLE, NC — Thomas Wayne Clymer, 69, of 308 Ranson Street, died Sunday, May 31, 2009, at Rockingham County Hospice Home.

Tommy was born in Rockingham County to the late Hugh and Henrietta Pulliam Clymer, and served two years in the US Army as a military policeman in Landsthul Germany.

He was a self-employed painter, attended Reidsville Alliance Church and was a member of R.O.M.E.O (Retired Old Men Eating Out).

Survivors include his sons, Thomas Bradley Clymer (Ruth), Mark Morningstar, Tripp Morningstar and Glenn Purcell; daughters, Tracey Deaton (Charles) of 1401 Benton Lake, Reidsville, Marty Shreves and Christine Dascoli; grandchildren, Joshua Crouch, Ashley Belton, Daniel Deaton, Joshua Burke, Casey Burke, Jamie Boone, Tommy Boone, Bailey Parker; great-grandchildren, Savannah Belton, Caroline Deaton and Riley Burke; former wives, Linda Grogan Hickman, and Louise Clymer; sister, Judy Clymer; brother, David Wilson; special friends, Phyllis Morningstar, and Dorinda Edwards.
