Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Martha Adams Nix. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church. Mrs. Aaron was preceded in death by her husband, William Aaron.
Survivors include a son, Gene Aaron, Jefferson; daughter, Jerrie Courson, Statham; sister, Evelyn Kirkman, Jefferson; brother, Danny Nix, Conyers; granddaughter, Celena Chatham, Talmo.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 27, at 11 a.m., from the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Revs. Ronnie Healan and Charles Morrison officiating. Burial will be in Galilee Christian Church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Mize, Stanley Duncan, Carl Mize, Ricky Hooper, Chip Aaron, and Craig Brooks. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 25, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
