Burial was in Highland Cemetery. Mr. Abeyta was born in Las Vegas, N.M. He worked for a railroad. Survivors include six sons, Richard, David, Joseph, Christopher, Michael and Gregory; and two daughters, Marie and Kathryn, all of Denver.
