Death of Charles B. Adams

C. B. Adams, on eof El Dorado Springs' aged and venerable citizens, died last Saturday, March 8, at his home, 238 West Spring street, following several years of declining health.

Mr. Adams, 85 years old, was born at Springfield, Mo., August 7, 1855. He came to El Dorado Springs from Kansas City, Kas., some fifteen or twenty years ago, and since had been one of our most honored citizens. He was deeply religious and was an active member of the Nazarene church. For several years he conducted chapel services at his home, serving as minister for that organization in this vicinity. His wife died in this city several years ago. He is survived by several children and other relatives.

Following a short service at the Nafus chapel Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock, the body was taken to Kansas City, Kas., where a second service was held Tuesday afternoon at the Gibson & Son funeral home. Burial was in the Memorial Park cemetery.
