Former College Professor Dies

Ivin G. Richardson, a former professor at the University of Oklahoma, died Wednesday [19 SEP 1956] at his home, 426 NW 25. He was 60.

Services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday in the First Presbyterian church of El Reno. Burial will be in the El Reno cemetery. Masonic and military services will also be conducted.

Richardson was born in Union City, and was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and Harvard university. He was a professor in the OU College of Business, and was later employed by the Chase National bank of New York, the Portland Cement Co., and as public relations director of J. C. Penney, Co. At the time of his death, he was a paint company distributor.

He was a Mason, a member of the India Shrine Temple, Sigma Chi fraternity, and a veteran of World War I.

Surviving are his wife, Leone, of the home, and his father, Dr. D. P. Richardson, of Union City.
