Watson R. Cornish, 68 years old, died Wednesday afternoon at his home, 240 W. Poplar street. He is survived by his widow, one son, O.C. Cornish and 8 daughters, Stella, Myrtle, May and Josie, and Mrs. (Martha) George Shaffner, Mrs. B.H. Smith, Mrs. C.E. Stout, of Oklahoma City, and Mrs. J.O. Bean of Chico, Texas. Funeral services will be conducted from the Hahn funeral home at 10 o'clock Friday morning. Burial will be in Fairlawn cemetery. (THE OKLAHOMAN)
Widow: Josephine Foreman, whom he married in 1886 in Cooke County, TX, died Oct. 25, 1971 in Oklahoma City, OK.
