JOHN M. WORTHINGTON

EL RENO --- John M. Worthington, 51, died Wednesday at Mercy Health Center following a short illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Highland Baptist Church in El Reno with burial in the El Reno Cemetery, directed by Benson Funeral Home.

A native of El Reno, Worthington was a clerk at the Chicago Rock Island Pacific Railroad for about 18 years. He was a member of the Railroad Steamship Clerks of America and Highland Baptist Church.

Suivivors include his wife, Velda; two sons, Wayne, El Reno, and Charles, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Bearden, Oklahoma City; a brother, Leonard, Hawthorne, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Marion Long. Julian, Calif., and three grandchildren.
