Helen Reeves, 86, of Bay City died Saturday, September 15, 2001in Bay City. She was born October 20, 1914 in Ashwood, Texas to the late J. Fisher and Annie Allardyce Smith. She was survived by her husband, James T. Reeves of Bay City, two sisters, Maybelle Smith and Eva Adelle Serrill, both of Bay City. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by two brothers, C.L. and John Fisher Smith.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 17, 2001 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Zimmerman officiating. Interment followed at Roselawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers were John Serrill, Johnny Smith, Grady Puryear, Tim Falkner, Bill Massey, Gary Hales, Jerry Reeves and Jim Reeves.
